On his way back from Beddington on 8th November 2025, Ray called in at Sydenham Garage, hoping to see either the three new minibuses or the two new vans. What he actually found was the Ford Transit Custom van that had earlier been based at the Fastrack depot in Dartford. EK68BXY is a high-roof, short-wheelbase van, and the registration series suggests it may have been new to another Go-Ahead operator. As the banner behind the van proclaims, Sydenham is the newest Go-Ahead London Garage. Making use of a former Clarkes Coaches base, it was opened on 6th September 2025 when six routes and 52 buses (all single-deck) were transferred in from Orpington. The base evidently has additional capacity and it is also being used to store new and withdrawn buses. Visible in the background are several OM-class Optare MetroCity single-deckers (which were withdrawn from route S1 in mid-2025) and some new DEL-class electric double-deckers.
