| I had asked Ray to try and get a photo of the rear of TfL dustcart LT73EAK when he returned to Acton Works, and he achieved this on 11th March 2026. There is quite a lot of gubbins round the back, and it is not very clear what it all does, but I presume it enables large wheelie-bins to be lifted and their contents tipped into the back. Even though TfL lettering has been applied (including on the rear), this vehicle was not included on a recently-obtained fleetlist, suggesting that it is on hire rather than being leased or owned. |
