Content releases, etc.

21st August 2009
Content creators may be interested in the availability online of several BR wagon diagram books, courtesy of the Barrowmore Model Railway Group. A total of 640 drawings are included, covering most of the BR revenue fleet as at the early 1980s. See LTSV Wagons for more details.

I haven't been watching the DLS very closely of late but one set of releases I did notice was an upgrade of the Seacow bogie ballast hoppers originally built by Greeni. These will be added to the catalogue shortly.

25th March 2009
Additions to the DLS in the last month have included a whole raft of mineral wagons by John Whelan. These represent both the MDO and MEO variants and make effective use of photographs for the skins. Other releases include another reskin of my Bardon hopper by Communist, and a new livery (GEFCO blue) on Virgile's SNCF car transporter.

23rd February 2009
6 new models have been added to the catalogue. Four are further mineral wagon reskins by Shanks and TMZ, while the final pair form a French articulated car carrier which is broadly similar to types seen in the UK.

19th February 2009
The flow of modern wagon models continues unabated. Recent releases include the last pair of PCA tanks and no fewer than 7 additional PCV Cemflo tanks, covering various body details and liveries. All these models come from the Greeni/tmz06003 team, and all feature excellent chameleon weathering.

Also released by tmz06003 are some open wagon reskins, produced by Shanks using a mesh by Tommylommykins featuring underframe parts by me! These are a rusty ZHV 16ton mineral, two weathered MSV tipplers and a departmental ZKV. These models use Chameleon to change the running numbers (note that they are therefore shown as not featuring Chameleon in the catalogue; only models that use Chameleon for livery variations will be so marked).

Finally, Tramp has released a set of his HBA hoppers in various liveries and states of disrepair. Among these is one lettered as an RNA. These were used as barrier wagons on nuclear flask trains, and later had their bodywork removed (as already modelled by Tramp).

1st February 2009
The collaboration between Greeni and tmz06003 has seen a large number of wagon models released recently. As well as updating Greeni's TTA tanks and adding a TUA variant, there are new models of the PCV 'Cemflo' and PCA 'V-tank' powder tanks (in a variety of bright liveries, with more to follow once the DLS catches up with itself), and a pair of bogie fertiliser vans.

2nd January 2009
As well as improvements to his vans, John Whelan has released some more OAA open wagons, including some new liveries. I hope to have these added to the catalogue soon.

28th August 2009
I have released the early model of the Dennis Dart bus in Stagecoach livery, as shown on the Road Vehicles project page. I still intend to produce a better version at a later date.

19th August 2009
Another update on the Autoballasters has been added.

17th August 2009
A small update covering work on some new BAA Steel Wagon variants.

13th August 2009
Another update on the Autoballasters has been added.

10th August 2009
Finally I have some (very minor) progress to report on my projects. I managed just a couple of hours working on the Autoballasters, focusing on the discharge chutes of the Tiphook variant. I hope to get more done soon!

14th June 2009
Although there are no real updates to the site or to my projects, I have decided to make most of my models (277 items totalling 100MB) available as directly downloadable CDP files. Most of the CDPs are for single items and do not include dependencies. Some files, particularly those from other creators (such as the couplestar and chameleon libraries), will still have to be obtained from the DLS. Links for the CDPs can be found against the relevant items on the catalogue and projects pages (you may need to refresh your browser if these have been cached).

Some of my older models have not been dealt with. However, as I recently discovered, these have all been included as built-in content in the TRS2009 release.

25th March 2009
Catalogue updated with recent releases.

23rd February 2009
As well as the new items shown opposite, the catalogue has also had the models that come included in Trainz Classics 3 added. These are an MCV, two MDVs, an Anhydrite hopper and three superb Presflo cement wagons.

19th February 2009
18 newly released models have been added to the catalogue, while the links to some updated models have been modified.

1st February 2009
The new wagons mentioned under General News have been added to the catalogue. Most can be found on the Tank wagons page. I have had almost no free time in the past few weeks so there are no updates on my own projects.

2nd January 2009
I have added the two LNER Pipe wagon models that feature BR departmental liveries to the catalogue. Due to their role, they can be found on the General Goods page.
