| Derek visited the First Bus London base (former RATP, originally NCP/NSL) at Twickenham on 11th April 2026 and found several service vehicles in the yard along with a variety of withdrawn buses. Renault Master van MF20RZC on the left had latterly been the engineers van at Park Royal/Harlesden Garage (RP), until that base was closed on 28th March 2026 (when route 18 was transferred to Westbourne Park). The white van in the middle is unmarked Citroen Berlingo CJ73ZNA, assigned fleetnumber MTR75244 and on hire here for about a year. On the right were at least four Dacia Sandero cars, which were also made redundant by the closure of RP. Nearest is D75106 (MJ69ZDM), while the others included D75113 (MJ69ZKU), D75124 (MJ69ZJX) and D75126 (MJ69ZKX). |
