A high metal tilt with a forward facing window was fitted to the front of the trailer when I first saw it in the latter half of 1959. Kim Rennie's book pictures it as delivered, without the tilt, but refers to its later use transporting the tubular bus shelters. This would explain the conversion and suggest the inclusion of a rear facing bench for the crew in similar fashion to shelter carriers 921LT and 1018J. |
