| Details: Leyland Freighter recovery truck 2418L was allocated to Forest District and based at Upton Park. In the run-up to privatisation of London Buses, this garage came under the newly formed East London unit, and the logo of this were carried when it was photographed near its home. By this time, recovery trucks had lost the right to run on trade plates and the replacement B/XJD plate is carried. 2418L was never rebuilt with the newer type of boom and was sold to the Linkfast group by mid-1992. | ||
