| Details: I was somewhat surprised to see a photograph of this car carrying its fleetnumber. M635MUV was one of four M-registered Vauxhall Astra estate cars numbered 4794B to 4797B, in amongst mainly R-registered vehicles. It appears that they were new (in April 1995) as un-numbered vehicles and were then allocated fleetnumbers in mid-1997. All four were allocated to London Transport Buses and photographs of three of the cars show LTB lettering but no fleetnumbers. 4794B was never reported or photographed so may have been anonymous. 4795B was seen at Edgware Bus Station on 25th July 1997. The number may have been on the nearside only, as an offside view taken in May 1998 shows no number. | ||
