LTSV-RD in words

LTSV Rail Data is a database of information about the numbering and classification of UK railway rolling stock.

It is mainly about freight wagons but also covers all other types of trains.

The database includes:

• Lists of numbers, codes, allocations etc
• News about additions, withdrawals, modifications, traffic flows etc
• Profiles of selected types of train
• Articles covering other specific topics
• Reviews of related books and websites
• Photos of trains
• User-added Notes

LTSV-RD contains most of the content from LTSV Wagons (an earlier website, launched in 2008).

LTSV-RD is being launched progressively from 2021 onwards. Certain sections will not yet be available, or may be incomplete.
