| Details: Perivale never had a bus garage under London Transport, but now it has two, albeit both operated by Metroline. The Perivale West base (code PA) on Horsenden Lane South was inherited with the Thorpes operation, while Perivale East (PV) on Alperton Lane, was acquired to replace existing premises and allow for expansion. This picture taken at the latter location shows un-branded Metroline Volkswagen Transporter minibus RL04KPZ leaving on 29th July 2006. Several similar vehicles are used on crew ferry work, and all carry different factory-applied colour schemes. Does anyone know the significance of the big gun on the left? Ironic, as the SV livery appears to be gun-metal! | ||||
