Details: This picture, and the one that follows it, have been included to show that Ford Transit dropsides were often 'handed'. 4292F had been new in April 1993 and was lettered for the Infrastructure Manager of the Metropolitan Line. In this offside view taken outside Ruislip station it will be noticed that there is no access door to the crew compartment on this side, and that the dropside panel goes all the way to the front of the body. |
