| Details: An Iveco of EPL Access has already been illustrated on this site (Daily van AD03OOU in 2006). The example seen here is also an Iveco Daily but a chassis-cab rather than a van, and the hoist fitted is rather more substantial. With 2 hinges and an extending final section, it is capable of lifting a 200kg load to a height of 16m. Registered AE08JUX, it was assigned to the Technical Services Group (TSG) of London Buses and was probably used in connection with the fitting of iBus transmission boxes to lamp-posts. Ray photographed it parked alongside a smaller Ford Transit-based cherry picker at the TSG offices in Chingford on 4th May 2009. | |||
