Details: Yep, here is another previously unknown bus company service vehicle from the 1990s! Although unlettered, the yellow livery with red stripes, and the fleetnumber of 872, indicate it was part of the Capital Citybus fleet (as does the presence of one of their buses behind). Photographed at Crouch End on 1st February 1997, the first day of operation on route 91, the vehicle is a short-wheelbase Mk4 (note the rounded headlamps) Ford Transit minibus. It was new in November 1993, but may have been acquired second-hand, and was delicensed by May 2000. The Leyland Titans bought for the 91 were the first to carry the red-based livery (replacing the mainly yellow version), although they were very soon replaced by new Volvo Olympians.
