| Details: Until recently, determining which vehicles had left the leased fleet was a matter of guesswork (unless a vehicle happened to be seen with a subsequent user). However, we then discovered that a large number of vans are disposed of through British Car Auctions. One of our contributors has registered with them and is able to obtain lists of vehicles included in each auction. On top of this, another contributor has been making regular visits to one of their main locations, at Blackbushe. Six of the photos from today's batch were taken there, and show various service vehicles awaiting sale. Most are vehicles that were rarely seen or photographed during their time in the fleet. Ford Transit crew van 6008F has been shown before. This van never gained logos, and was thought to be used as a float vehicle. It was photographed in one of the huge sheds at Blackbushe on 30th June 2011. | |||
