| Details: Derek photographed these two vans at Abellio's Battersea garage on 10th September 2014. On the left is Ford Transit van NA56VMT, based here for almost four years. On the right is an anonymous Nissan NV400 van that was first licensed in June 2014. I would have dismissed this is a hire but Derek noted that it had the fleetnumber 6774 on the nearside. As such, this seems likely to be the first service vehicle that Abellio have ever operated from new. By the way, the Nissan NV400 is a badge-engineered version of the Renault Master and Vauxhall/Opel Movano. Nissan-built examples of the earlier versions of the Renault Master were branded the Interstar but the name was changed with the latest revamp, presumably to tie-in with the smaller NV200 model. | |||||
