Details: Time for another Inspector's car. 3276B was a petrol-engined Bedford Astra van leased from Wincanton in July 1984 as a replacement for Vauxhall Chevette estate 3067B. LOTS reported that it was initially allocated to West Ham Garage but had moved to Ash Grove within a few months. It was to remain there until withdrawn in early 1987, when it was replaced by revised-design Astra van 3471B. Phil photographed the van leaving London Bridge bus station on a rainy day in May 1986. Part of the station's distinctive brown 'plastic' cladding can be seen in the background. This area has seen extensive changes in recent years. The building on the right has been replaced by a new one, while the station has been totally renewed and the part seen here is now occupied by The Shard.
