| The Ford Transit Custom model was revised in 2023 with a more angular appearance, while retaining the same overall shape and sloped waistline. It is referred to as the second generation Transit Custom although I have not decided whether we should distinguish this in database entries. In a curious reversal of the Transit Connect situation (where the latest Ford version is a development of the Volkswagen Caddy), the new Transit Custom has also been developed into the latest variant of the VW Transporter. Hybrid-powered Transit Custom minibus 9488F was seen at Stratford Market Depot on 15th July 2026, with various other SVs in the background. |
