Details: Ford Transit dropside 6157F is one of three such vehicles based at Lillie Bridge that have been fitted with light-bars, the others being 6158F and 6159F. The vehicle parked alongside may be of interest. Lillie Bridge has long been home to a variety of un-liveried vehicles, many of which remain in use for several years (see this picture for an example). However, in late 2008/2009 several batches of vehicles were taken into the leased fleet which seemed to have been acquired on a pool basis, being allocated to a variety of users. As such, the vehicles are likely to be unlettered and may not carry fleet livery. Among these vehicles were three Renault Master dropside trucks with crew-cabs and tail-lifts, numbered 6644 to 6646. The vehicle alongside 6157F here is a Renault (see wheelhub) and appears to have both a tail-lift and a crew-cab, so is possibly one of this trio. 5th March 2009.
