Ray | Sited in Beck Lane (the run-in was down a slope from a door in Elmers End Road) The L/H doorway was named after John Cunningham - 'Cunningham Gate'- who was killed while on look out during the war. A memorial to him and others killed when the garage was blown-up is preserved at Acton Museum (I believe). | Sun 24/06/2007, 17:50 |
