Eras covered:This shows the dates when the photos in each gallery were taken. Note that this does not relate to the age of the stock. Review:This review contains the opinions of the reviewer and gives an overview of the site along with information about any particular highlights or issues. While the majority of Huw's recent photographs are Lego-related (he runs the excellent Brickset website), there are also over 1,600 wagon photos. What makes this site special is that the photos were mainly taken in the mid-1980s, with an emphasis on private-owner wagons. Many types are covered, including some rarities such as the ex-BR Bogie Bolster and Lowfits used by ABP. Information is limited to the number, location and date being included in the filename. Photos can be downloaded at full-resolution, although in some cases this is on the low side. UPDATE 08/2022 - Huw has recently started scanning and adding more wagon photos, still taken in the 1980s but now looking at the BR-owned fleet. Almost 200 have been done so far, including some very interesting oddities.
Rating:This rating is the opinion of the reviewer and takes into account various factors such as the quality of the photographs, the interest/rarity of the subject matter and the ease with which the gallery can be navigated and particular photos found. Maximum score is 5 stars.
