Subject:	Vehicle VLW615G Ford Cortina Car
Text:	I believe the registration was originally intended for AEC Merlin MBS615, which was taken into stock at Aldenham in June 1969. LT decided to convert this bus to Red Arrow (MBA) specification before putting it into service, and as a result it was registered AML 615H instead. I presume that when this Cortina arrived LT, knowing that the Merlin wouldn't be ready until after the year-letter change, decided to save a bit of money by giving its intended registration to the car.
